Get on stage with Oily Cart
Acclaimed theatre company Oily Cart is seeking volunteers to participate in its spectacular interactive aerial production, Something in the Air, at the Unicorn this Spring.
The role of Volunteer Chair Driver is a unique opportunity to take part in an interactive aerial show specifically created for young people aged 3-19 with complex disabilities or an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
There will be 6 young people participating in each show, each with an adult companion. Comfortably seated in suspended nest-chairs, the young people and their companions will fly among the aerial performers in this unique kinaesthetic adventure. Each pair of nest chairs will have it’s own ‘Chair Driver’, to assist the participants and help control the height and movement of the chairs.
