Unicorn Theatre has been designed to be fully accessible, and we're committed to making theatre available to everyone. This section includes information about the facilities and services available for people with disabilities visiting the Unicorn, but if you have any further requirements, please let us know when you book your tickets and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Tickets:
Visitors with disabilities are entitled to one free ticket for their companion or PA. At this moment, these can only be booked by calling the Box Office on 020 7645 0560 or emailing boxoffice@unicorntheatre.com. Unfortunately you cannot book these tickets through our online booking service.
Getting to the Unicorn:
We have created a guide to reaching the Unicorn Theatre which you can download from this website, or you can ask the Box Office to send out it to you.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Visitors:
There is an Infra Red Sennheiser system in both theatre spaces. There are induction loops at the Box Office, Frizzante Café and the Stage Door. At least one person from the Front of House team will be wearing a portable induction loop at all times.
BSL users:
Some Unicorn shows will include at least one BSL interpreted performance during their run. Our signed performances have the interpreter integrated into the production - they have a costume and move around the stage with the actors. The interpreter is therefore central to the performance rather than an add-on at the side of the stage. Check our diary or contact the Box Office for dates and times of performances.
Visually Impaired Visitors:
Some Unicorn shows will include at least one audio-described performance during their run. This is a live commentary during the performance that describes the visual aspects of the production. The commentary can be listened to through special headsets. Before audio described performances, we run free touch tours on set - please book for these at the same time as booking your tickets for the show. In advance, we also send an introductory CD, describing the set, characters adn costumes as well as information on the location and layout of the Unicorn Theatre. This service is provided through Vocaleyes. Check our diary or contact the Box Office for dates and times of performances.

Assistance Dogs:
Assistance dogs can be taken into both theatres and can be cared for during the performances. Please inform the Box Office when you book your tickets if you decide to bring your assistance dog to the theatre.
Wheelchair Users:
There are spaces for four wheelchair users in the Weston Theatre, with associated seats for companions. The number of spaces for wheelchair users in the Clore Theatre varies from production to production, depending upon the layout of the seating. Please contact the Box Office for further details.
Separate accessible toilets and lift access to all floors are available.
