The participants work with production professionals from the Unicorn in a design session that focuses on how a production develops from page to stage. Theatre technicians then embark with them on a backstage tour of the Weston theatre to prepare them for an interactive demonstration in which the students have an active experience of running a show technically - taking on key technical roles such as that of Deputy Stage Manager, and lighting, sound, and flying operators.
