A Unicorn Theatre production

Marvin's Binoculars - Digital theatre

A new, online show about finding the big outdoors, wherever you are.

  • Created and directed by Justin Audibert

A new, online show about finding the big outdoors, wherever you are.

Our latest online production is a brand new show created and directed by our Artistic Director, Justin Audibert (Anansi the Spider Re-spun).

Creatively filmed and edited to bring theatre to life online for children, Marvin’s Binocular’s will be available for free, on our YouTube channel and the Guardian website until 8 August 2021.

Marvin loves exploring all the parks around his home in London and finding birds, bugs and animals. On his ninth birthday he's overjoyed - his very own pair of grown-up, pro binoculars! But then something terrible happens: he loses them, and to get them back, he must face the intimidating park warden.

Join Marvin as he discovers wildlife and friendship in the most unlikely places. Touching on themes of racial prejudice and self-belief, Marvin’s Binoculars is a highly engaging and vibrant show that will inspire children to explore the outdoors in their local green spaces.

As part of Unicorn Online, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering a range of free online theatrical experiences that we hope will be enjoyed by children across London, the UK and beyond.
