We're overjoyed to announce that our 2019 critically acclaimed show about the infamous trickster spider Anansi the Spider, will play on the theatre lawn at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre this summer.

Following the success of our digital adaptation last year, Anansi the Spider Re-spun, our retelling of the classic West African and Caribbean folk tales will be bought vividly to life once again for all ages to enjoy outdoors.

Tickets can be booked on the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre website

About the show

People say that a time long, long ago, animals walked on two feet and spoke with words, like we do. And back then it was known by everyone that the cleverest of all the animals in the kingdom was a spider – the infamous Anansi – the original trickster and the master spinner of yarns.

But sometimes Anansi could be a little too clever for his own good…

Created and directed by the Unicorn's Artistic Director, Anansi the Spider is an immersive and highly engaging experience that for this run, will be set outside on the Open Air Theatre's lawn.
