Unicorn Theatre update - Apr 2021

Message from Justin Audibert, Unicorn Artistic Director

We're delighted to have received funding from the government’s Culture Recovery Fund and to be able to announce some of our reopening plans and forthcoming programme.

We’re proud to announce a new co-production with Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre - from the 7 - 24 July our critically acclaimed 2019 stage show Anansi the Spider, for ages 3 – 7, will play on the theatre’s lawn. Tickets go on sale to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre members and Unicorn email subscribers on 19 April, and to the general public on 23 April. Visit the Regents Park webpage for more information and to book.

We’re also planning to re-open our building in June for a three-week run of our enormously popular production, Baby Show for ages 6 – 18 months. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 18 May to Unicorn subscribers and to the general public on 21 May. We can’t wait to welcome a new audience back into the building and to be able to offer babies and parents a chance to see this very special show following a year of closure. Information on how to book and FAQs on your trip to the theatre will follow shortly.

Planning is underway for our autumn 2021 – spring 2022 season for all ages, join our mailing list to hear about new shows and updates as we re-open and as more shows are announced for summer. Performances of Anansi the Spider and Baby Show will have COVID-safe processes in place for as long as necessary, including socially distanced seating.
