Audience Development Officer (Schools & Access)
JobsJob Description
We are seeking a candidate passionate about children and young people’s access to arts and culture, who would enjoy the opportunity to develop and drive schools and access audiences for the Unicorn Theatre’s in-house, co-productions and visiting company shows for children aged 6 months – 13 years.
The Audience Development Officer (Schools & Access) is key to ensuring that the Unicorn is accessible to all children from across London. Alongside delivering income to meet core financial targets, this role ensures we continue to subsidise tickets to schools with high percentages of free school meals, manage bookings for our Engagement programme school partners (based in our three local boroughs of across Tower Hamlets, Southwark and Lambeth) and that we reach a wide range of school and family groups for accessible performances.
The role would particularly suit someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who has experience in either: arts marketing or administration; box office roles managing schools and groups; learning / participation departments; or comes from a primary / early secondary education background or organisation.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation, as we are currently shaping new Artistic Director Rachel Bagshaw's vision and programme for the next few years ahead.
