COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION

Your comfort and peace of mind at the theatre are so important to us. We have been granted the Society Of London Theatre & UK Theatre’s ‘See It Safely‘ mark, which certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences. We will continue to update this page with the latest information, and can't wait to welcome you back.

What happens when I arrive for a show?
Please make sure you’ve downloaded your ticket to your digital device in advance or have a copy printed. These will be scanned by our Front of House team at the main doors to the building.

We are also asking all audience members over the age of 12 to wear a mask whilst in the building, unless you are exempt. This includes during the performance, except to briefly eat or drink, for the safety of our team and the company of the show.

We have hand sanitiser stations situated in numerous locations around the building.

Will the audience be socially distanced?
We are selling the majority of our performances to full capacity, and whilst we will be encouraging social distancing around the venue where possible, there may be times where that isn’t possible. We will have a number of socially distanced performances available for some shows for those that would feel more comfortable. What should I do if I feel unwell?
If you or anyone in your party feels unwell we can offer an exchange, credit voucher or refund without a fee any time up to an hour before the performance. If you develop symptoms please contact our Box Office on 020 76450 560 or by emailing boxoffice@unicorntheatre.com and we will do our best to provide you with an exchange where possible.

What cleaning procedures are in place?
The building will be cleaned daily with an emphasis on high touch points.

FOH staff will ask audiences to sanitise their hands when entering the building and again before going into the auditorium.

FOH staff will clean high touch points such as tables, chairs, lift buttons, handrails, faucets, toilet handles and toilet seats, with anti-bacterial spray and wipes, in between each performance and after frequent use.

The auditorium will be fogged once a week using Sterizar, which creates an antiviral coating covering all surfaces.

How is the air circulating in the building?
We use an air handling unit which brings fresh air from the outside into the theatre. The system is set to its maximum capacity of 50% fresh air, meeting government guidance for ventilation.

What is your cancelled show/cancelled tickets policy?
If the show is cancelled you will be able to receive a full refund. Our Box Office team will contact you directly to sort a refund or exchange tickets to a different performance.

Do I still need to collect my ticket?
All our tickets will be issued as e-tickets, which can be printed at home or shown on your phone when you arrive.

We can exchange, refund or arrange a credit note up to 12 hours before the performance, with no exchange fees.
