A Christmas cracker of a family show!

The Bolds are just like you and me. They live in an ordinary house in an ordinary street, and they love to laugh. But there’s one slight difference… They’re hyenas!
How long can they keep their beastly secret under their hats? Join Mr and Mrs Bold, Betty and Bobby, as they navigate work, school and friends, all whilst trying to keep up their disguise.
With live music, songs and adventures, this brand new Christmas show revels in the joy of being anything but ordinary.

Reviews for the book

'Original and very funny' ― Kirkus

'Funny and clever with a good dose of yucky humour. Children will appreciate the wry digs at the nonsense of modern living.' The Bookseller, Fiona Noble

'The animals are amongst us! This lovely book will have kids rolling on the floor with mirth while their parents roll their eyes in recognition of human folly' Fay Weldon

'Underscoring the slapstick appeal is a message about understanding others’ differences... Fans of Roald Dahl will find much to appreciate here.' School Library Journal
